New volunteers to the Severn Valley Railway are generally invited to Induction Days which are held at regular intervals when the Railway is open. They are intended to introduce new entrants to the various volunteering opportunities available to them.

Many applicants have already decided which department they wish to join and thus are invited to visit the VLO team during any Tuesday or Thursday between 10am and 3pm at Bewdley Station situated on Platform 1, so that they can be fast tracked through to the department of their choice. If you fall within this category and decide to visit us, please telephone beforehand to ensure one of the team will be available to discuss your interests and answer any questions which may arise.
